This is it!

Note: just to really confuse you (or, more likely, me haha) I changed the date of my London entry so it appears as June 16th, which does make more sense as it’s the day it happened. But as I technically only started this blog on this date (June 27th) this entry is staying put.

And so begins the last day of my Muse weekend in London, and I can say without a doubt that it’s been one of the best weekends I can remember

I remember waking up really early today, as did Bob, but I was still tired so I kept drifting off while he was trying to talk to me haha. Eventually I woke up properly and sorted all my stuff out. We heard that strange noise that we’d been hearing last night again, and we finally found out it was the air freshener! Haha so that was that mystery solved, next I think we’ll solve crimes!

Okay so technically some of yesterday’s entry was actually today, but I always think a day starts at the point you wake up and ends at the point you go to sleep… So I shall start when we woke up in the morning of Sunday 17^th June 2007.

I woke up sleepy but cosy and warm in my sleeping bag on Kazzie’s front room floor. I think most other people in here also woke up not too long after, Ste was now on the sofa I’d initially been on last night, don’t know when that happened haha. Bless him, he had no covers or anything! A bit later (I can’t remember exact times unfortunately) Kazzie, Inn and Kiernan came down and everyone played a bit of Wii sports. Blee got really into it, she had her own little Wii Mii and was going nuts at the tennis and baseball haha.

Everyone was gathering up their stuff and tidying the mess we’d made in Kazzie’s house. I was feeling a bit disheartened at the fact I’d have to lug all my stuff around with me today, sleeping bag and regular bag, as I had to meet Alan tonight straight away after the gig and catch a train back to his in Cambridge, so I had no other choice but to take all my kit to the gig itself. I thought it wouldn’t be so bad though as we’d most probably be sitting tonight (VIP area, woo!) so I could dump my stuff on the floor, and not have to hold it all the time.

Sorted? Haha hardly.

In the beginning…

It’s kind of strange waking up and thinking that in like 12 hours time I’d be in London watching Muse at Wembley Stadium, but it was also kinda strange to think that in only 5 hours I’d actually be in London. Anyway so yeah, today is the day I begin my Muse weekend in London!

Aside from seeing Muse I was also looking forward to seeing Bob, Inn and Gem again. It’s kind of strange to be spending a weekend with Gem in London, instead of the usual Halifax or Leeds, but it would of course be ace.
