The Golden Compass is a shit title, really is. There isn’t even a golden compass. There’s an Alethiometer. Not the same thing. Plus, it’s really screw over the title of the 3rd one (if they make it) which should really be called The Amber Spyglass, because they do sound quite similar.

I bet they change it. I bet they change The Subtle Knife as well. To something stupid like The Horribly Vicious and Murderous Stabbing Weapon.
