When I was a little girl in primary school, we once did a class assembly about Pancake Day. I was the chef and the teacher found me a white chefs outfit and a big tall hat to wear. I stood by a plastic oven and held a plastic frying pan and I had a plastic pancake we nicked from the nursery box of plastic food which I had to throw up in the air and flip over. I spent ages practising beforehand so I could be able to catch it. I wanted to toss it and flip it infront of the whole school.

I missed it. I went so red.

Anyway on another note I do love pancakes. We’re having them tomorrow though, not tonight (long story). Can’t wait!
